Manifesto

Promote Diversity and Protect it From Monoculture

Cultural biodiversity is as important as ecological biodiversity. Resist widespread homogenisation and hegemonic dictation. Explore the alternatives. Support variety in art, language, craft, folklore, and collective practice, protecting them from commercial erosion.

Dismantle the Myth of Meritocracy

Reject the narrative framing systemic injustice as personal inadequacy. Expose the structural forces — extractive capitalism, privatisation, and inequality — that currently shape opportunity. Replace shame and subordination with solidarity. Our outcomes are not predetermined.

Education is Liberation, Not Extraction

Resist the commodification of learning. Recognise that restricted accessibility to education creates generational cognitive decline. Restore education to open spaces of curiosity, dialogue, critical thought, and cultural development. Demand learning environments free from peer-to-peer competition, metric optimisation, and obedience training.

Protect Intangible Cultural Heritage

Recognise culinary practice and food craft knowledge as living cultural heritage. Honour a culture that values sustainability, identity, and quality of experience. Treat heritage preservation as a growth strategy, not nostalgia.

Reclaim Time, Attention, and Presence.

Consider where our invaluable resources are spent. Critique addictive media architectures and an economy of distraction. Rediscover hobbies, crafts, food preservation, outdoor activity, and collective rituals. Value their process over its product.

Restore Food Sovereignty and the Celebration of Place

Rebuild resilient local food systems together. Support seasonal production cycles, community preservation practices, and regenerative agricultural processes over unethical supply chains and corporate dependency. Food is not a commodity — it is connection, nourishment, memory, ecology, and culture.

Transform Waste into Commons

Reject performative “solutions” that siphon profits to corporations. Build community-led circular systems — composting, cultivating, fermenting, preserving, scavenging, and bartering — that convert surplus into shared abundance. Waste is a flawed design in need of reimagining.

Democratise Culinary Knowledge

Liberate food heritage from elite institutions and their fine dining gatekeepers. Celebrate and credit cultural origins. Share techniques openly. Make knowledge accessible. Honour traditions without discrimination.

Rebalance Urban and Rural Life

Support rural regeneration while shaping cities into cooperative, liveable ecosystems. Encourage responsible land stewardship, re-wilding, co-living, and shared sufficiency. Create spaces for nourishing exploration — not exploitation.

Humanise our Labour

End exploitation and oppression in the workplace. Criticise problematic models focused on individual gain, performance, and prestige. Replace them with dignified, transparent, and equitable environments. No “experience” justifies abuse.

Rebuild Cooperative Economies

Replace top-down hierarchy with thriving mycelial networks. Expand cooperative ownership throughout farming, housing, crafts, and business. Discover the potency of community; pool resources, share risk, and distribute security fairly. Become torchbearers together. Collective governance is not utopian idealism — it is proven egalitarian infrastructure.

Create Post-Capital Futures Built on Collective Care

Create calm, inclusive spaces for cross-pollination. Encourage artistic inquiry, transformative practice, and shared governance. Prioritise community over individuals, de-growth over growth-at-all-costs. Together, show that scarcity is manufactured and abundance is reality.
